Happy Hemp Day…
Where’s all my ladies at!?
Who suffers with their monthly thinking there’s no possible answer for some relief?
Let me tell you a little story about my experience with CBD…
When I started using CBD myself it was actually to help with anxiety, amongst other things, but to my pleasant surprise, I noticed even more changes when my monthly came in.
Firstly, I didn’t get any symptoms of my period coming at all –
❎ No mood swings
❎ No binge eating
❎ No pain
❎ No aches
You know the usual stuff.. well it all just stopped, randomly just went away, I was confused to start with then done 2 + 2 & came up with CBD!
It’s even now reduced the time that I bleed for! Honestly an absolute god send!
Who ever designed women to go through childbirth & then also bleed monthly needs a shake.

So There Are Many Reasons To Use CBD for Menstrual Cramps….
Along with its pain relieving properties, the anti-inflammatory nature of CBD products may make them ideal for reducing headaches, nausea, and other normal symptoms of your menstrual cycle.
You’ll most likely be thankful that you tried this substance to reduce the pain of your menstrual cramps!

A bit about the science of female hormones and pregnancy:
Science tells us that Anandamide levels need to fluctuate (and fluctuate fast) if that body is to perform a successful pregnancy.
The need to be high to ensure ovulation, but they need to be low at the point of embryo implantation, as this is associated with a better chance of a successful pregnancy.
We know CBD can boost Anandamide levels because it’s prevents its breakdown (by fatty acid amide hydrolase), so theoretically CBD could be useful for promoting ovulation. But this would not be desirable once an egg has been fertilised and looking to implant, because you need the Anandamide levels to drop at that point.
Therefore, it would make sense to cease CBD once ovulation has occurred.
Remember that it will take about 3 days to clear from the body.
We know that CBD interacts with 5-HTIA receptors with the outcome of an improved mood and lower levels of anxiety.
This is very useful for anyone going through fertility issues because it can be such a stressful time-and stress can actually contribute to fertility issues, making it a somewhat vicious circle.
CBD maybe helpful for ensuring normal ovulation, but it could also interfere with implantation, therefore the best thing to do is to discuss the use and timings of CBD with your doctor, especially if women is taking any fertility medications, in case there is any interactions.
As with PMS and dysmenorrhea, small doses are key, so as to not knock the ECS of balance.
Could CBD help you get your hormones in balance and help with PMS?
