Hey there my Flawsome friend,
Hope the day sees you well?
You’re Flawsome!
I wanted to hop on today and share with you all something I’ve found really motivating and inspiring along my journey. Mood Boarding!
It’s so easy to do but how and why?
How to Mood Board:
There are a few ways to do and it depends on the final result you want to acheive a to how you go about it.
- You can collage your Mood Board by using old magazines, books, images, quotes, words, letters you like the look of and glue (randomly but with intent) to a big piece of card. Place somewhere visible daily to keep visualising your goals.
- You can also create a digital version using an app, like ‘Moodboards’ that I downloaded from the iTunes app store, it was a free version that I had but you can buy the updated version to create more than one board. I then screen shot mine and saved as my screensaver on my phone so could see all the time and keep me motivated and inspired to keep going.
- You could also use images, old magazines, books, newspapers etc, like with the collage poster but attach to a journal or notebook and then you will see it daily when you use it and that will help keep you inspired and motivated daily.
- There are many ways to make it work for you!
** Use images, words, letters, photographs, etc that mean something to you!**
Why Mood Board?
For me, I like to Mood Board because it helps keep me inspired and motivated by having a visual to keep me going.
For example, see my personal mood board above! In November 2016, I wanted to write recipe books to sell-done, become a personal trainer-done, train as a nutritionist-done, create meal plans to sell-done. There are a few more things to tick off but they will happen, in time! I know it!
Have you ever created you’re own Mood Board?
If so how did you do yours and how did it work for you?
If you haven’t tried before, give it a go!
You will find it so motivating. My ‘Forever Flawsome’ members hadn’t done anything like this before and they are finding it so helpful, to keep them motivated and inspired on their own healthy journeys.
Why not give it a go today, I’d love to hear your thoughts on Mood Boarding.
I’ll leave it there for today, don’t forget, You’re Flawsome!
Lots of love,
Jem xoxo
